Policies

  • All new clients are required to complete a complimentary consultation prior to any colour service to ensure the desired result is safe and achievable.

    While consultations can be conducted via text if necessary, an in-person consultation is recommended to allow for a thorough hair analysis.

    Taylah will reach out to you if you haven’t booked a consultation to discuss your hair goals and ensure the correct service is booked.

  • If you ar booked in for a colour service please arrive with clean hair. Oily or dirty hair can affect how the colour develops, and blonde may not lift as expected.

    If your hair needs washing before your appointment, Taylah will do so for a $40 fee, which may cut into your appointment time and your service will be altered.

  • Quotes can’t be given over the phone, email, or socials.

    You’ll receive your personalised quote either before your appointment starts or during a separate consultation, which can be easily booked online.

  • Prices are intended as a guide and may vary based on hair length, texture, and condition.

    Any adjustments due to extra time or product needs will be confirmed with a quote when you attend your appointment if not discussed in prior consultation.

  • A non refundable deposit will be taken when making a booking.

    This amount will come off the total cost when you attend your appointment.

  • Your booking is not automatically confirmed. You will receive a booking confirmation once we have accepted the booking.

    We will contact you prior to confirming your appointment to ensure you have booked the correct service.

    You will receive an email reminder 1 week prior and also a TEXT 3 days before your appointment.

    PLEASE CONFIRM so we know you are attending by replying YES to the message.

    We reserve the right to cancel your appointment if we do not receive confirmation within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment time.

  • If you CANCEL within 48 hours of your appointment time, you will forfeit your deposit.

    If you CANCEL before 48 hours of your appointment time, your deposit will be held as a credit on your account.

    Cancelling and rescheduling can be done via the booking link or you can contact Taylah directly.

    If you’re unwell or face an emergency, please let us know right away. You can reschedule your appointment within one week at no extra cost. If the appointment isn’t rebooked, it will be treated as a late cancellation and the deposit will be forfeited.

    If you haven’t paid a deposit and cancel within 48 hours, a $150 cancellation fee will be sent to you via email. Payment must be made within 3 business days. Until this is settled, any future appointments will require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.

    No-show appointments will incur a fee of 50% of the total service, and a 50% deposit will be required to secure any future bookings.

  • Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment time. If you are more than 10 minutes late your service may be altered or cut short and you will still be charged for the full amount of your booking.

    We understand you may have other commitments on the day of your appointment, but please make sure your schedule allows enough time for your stylist to complete your service properly. We don’t want to feel rushed.

  • For safety reasons and due to limited space, we ask that clients attend appointments alone.

    Please arrange care for children on the day of your appointment, except for newborns under 6 months. This helps everyone enjoy a calm and relaxing experience.

  • Client satisfaction is our main priority and if for any circumstance you are. not happy with your service we ask that you please contact Taylah within 7 days of the booking so I can correct anything you are unhappy with.

    This must be booked within 2 weeks of your initial service. Beyond this time period any adjustments will be full price.

    Any change of mind will be at the expense of the client and we do not offer refunds.
